Every team in world would love to have the young talent Manchester United has especially concerning strikers. Players like Kiko Macheda, Joshua King, Will Keane, and Danny Welbeck, who are all 21 or younger. Danny Welbeck last year went to Sunderland for a whole season and look at him now, bigger and faster than he was when he left us, as he says “I left Manchester United as a boy and came back a man” The numbers don’t lie he scored 6 goals already (he got 6 in total last season).

There has been a personal rivalry between Kiko and Danny because both are great young strikers and are fighting for their spot in the starting 11. Danny finally got that and is right now ahead of Chicharito and Berbatov.

Why is that? It’s because he used the loan system and excelled. Danny got first team football and he didn’t look back, and with Bent leaving Sunderland in January of last year, it helped him even more. Just like Jack Wilshere and Daniel Sturridge, they both used the loan system and now their key players at Arsenal and Chelsea respectively. Look at Sturridge, without him they would’ve probably be in eighth place and all the Chelsea fans would be screaming for AVB to be sacked.

Kiko last season went against Sir Alex’s judgement and went to Italy instead of joining a PL team on loan. It was a bad experience for him as he only made 14 appearances and scored just one goal. He started a handful of games, if he goes on loan to a PL team, he would have gotten more first team football and in Italy when your in team in a relegation battle like Samporia was involved in, they don’t start young 19 year olds.

If you look at his new team QPR, there is a great chance he will get games with players like DJ Campbell, who rather go out partying than play a football match, and Jay Bothroyd who’s very inconsistent. If Kiko trains very hard and puts in good shifts, Neil Warnock will give him chances and play him.
